Dear all. I am closing Punkrockcds.com after ten years. Most of these years have been great, more recently it has been tough. I never started the store to make money but investing a lot of private money and never making any profit throughout the years makes it impossible to continue.
The music industry has changed massively during this time. Recently digital music revenue has overtaken CD sales for the first time. This reflects the growing popularity of digital music and sadly the decline of physical releases.
I’m proud of what we achieved. I’m proud of making Punkrockcds the UK’s largest online punk store. I’ve made lots of friends all over the world and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the bands, labels, distros and most importantly our loyal customers.
