In case you missed the train the first time around, now is your chance to get on board. Finally back in press, this is the Rivalry rerelease of the Allegiance "Self-Titled" CD, originally released by Anchor Records in 2003. The record features 13 tracks (12 originals plus a Minor Threat cover) from the early days of the band, prior to the "Overlooked" CD/LP recording (available on Rivalry Records, August 23rd 2005). Expect hard-nosed NYHC style hardcore in the vein of Madball, mixed with the speed and drive of Floorpunch and Right Brigade. Lyrically, the band represents a no-bullshit attitude, and proudly wears their San Francisco Straight Edge pride on their sleeves. This is what hardcore should sound like - fast, pissed, and ready to tear you apart.
