The brainchild of former INSTED bass player Rich Labbate, it only took 20 years for the idea of THE ALLIGATORS to come to fruition. After forging a friendship with AGNOSTIC FRONT’s Roger Miret sometime in 1985, it was Rich’s plan to one day collaborate on a project together and that project ended up not happening until 2006. So armed with a head full of riffs, Rich set the project in motion by recruiting former INSTED bandmates Steve Larson and Barret Burt, playing drums and guitar respectively. Although the original thought was that the four guys would record three songs and that would be it, they ended up recording multiple times, releasing two 7” EPs in the process. The 10 songs that made up those records are available here for the first time on CD along with 2 previously unreleased tracks.
