16 track compilation highlighting the importance and influence of Sunderlands favourite Punk/Oi! sons. This CD features the Upstarts debut anti-police single "Murder Of Liddle Towers" / "Police Oppression" that nearly got the band locked up and banned from playing in their native North-East of England for some ten years. Also included is the notorious "Brighton Bomb" single, banned on its release to shock-horror British news headlines for glorifying the IRA bomb attack on Margaret Thatcher, and the "Blood On The Terraces" track from their album of the same name that led to Link Records losing various distribution deals. There are also original versions of "Solidarity", "I Wont Pay For Liberty" and "Never Return To Hell", as well as seven excellent quality live recordings of their best known songs and hits including the classics "Teenage Warning" (No.29 in 1979), "Im An Upstart" (No.31 in 1979), "Never Ad Nothing" (No.52 in 1979) and "Last Night Another Soldier" (No.51 in 1980).
