ANTILLECTUAL is a punkrock trio from the Netherlands. Their music is melodic yet aggressive, their lyrics range from political to personal. The band releases its second album “Testimony” in March, 2008 through Fond Of Life Records. ANTILLECTUAL toured the USA and entire Europe countless times. During the last 3 years ANTILLECTUAL played over 200 shows. Among them two 3-week USA-tours, four 2-week Euro-tours playing shows with the likes of Ignite, Strung Out, Strike Anywhere, Against Me!, A Wilhelm Scream, and The Lawrence Arms. Besides touring the USA, ANTILLECTUAL toured the U.K., Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg. The highly anticipated second album “Testimony” features 10 songs ranging from blazing hardcore to melodic punkrock, accompanied by lyrics on politics, protest and personal feelings and supported by pounding drums and catchy guitar riffs.
