BALANCE AND COMPOSURE and TIGERS JAW are two bands that have brought uniqueness to today’s ever growing music scene. They have strayed away from styles that have seemed to be overplayed and have offered a fresh new sound for music listeners all over. BALANCE AND COMPOSURE’s Only Boundaries was called “The most memorable 4-song feast of 2009” by absolutepunk. net, and scenepointblank.com raved about TIGERS JAW’s Spirit Desire, “It’s sincere, it’s heartfelt, and it’s excellent.” Both bands have gained a lot of attention just about everywhere they’ve played and from whoever has given their music a listen. Though young compared to many other acts, they have been able to produce a sound that is nothing like what their exteriors seem to be. They have brought a certain honesty and musical awareness into their song writing processes and are able to deliver a product that is genuine and heartfelt, music that means something. Both have been compared to some of the ‘90s most memorable bands, a scene that was a stepping-stone for many of today’s most notable and successful acts. It is not a question of whether these bands will release well-received music, but when it will come.
