BEAUTY SCHOOL DROPOUT were a pop punk band from Glasgow formed in 1995. During their 6 years together the band toured the UK several times, appeared on various compilations and released a full length album entitled "Teasing the Fat Kids" which saw the band gain a cult following not only in the UK Pop-punk underground but also a huge following in Japan who loved their “pop-punk on helium” sound. Now, from out of the blue, the band have reunited across continents (singer/guitarist Dave now relocated to Canada when the band split) at the end of 2009, to record three brand new songs... “Palookaville (A Retrospective)“ combines those three songs, with the bands previously unreleased first demo, and their final recording session from 2001 which originally appeared on the long out of print Boss Tuneage Instant Singles Collection. A series of reunion shows is planned throughout 2010.
