Boy Sets Fire are back home. For 11 years the band have seen many things including their vans blowing up mid-tour, enduring 4 labels and touring continuously throughout the world non-stop. After being on the cutting edge of the new, then unknown, RemoS movement, Boy Sets Fire took to making hardcore and the scene a positive thing. Known for giving something for fans to think about in addition to the sing-a-long was all part of the Boy Sets Fire mantra about hardcore and how they lived their lives. Now, after being friends with Equal Vision Records over all these years and releasing a split with Snapcase back in 1999, Boy Sets Fire have signed with Equal Vision Records. Before releasing their next full-length next year Boy Sets Fire wanted their most treasured releases, "The Day The Sun Went Out", "Consider" 7S and "In Chrysalis" EP back in print again. Released separately as two CDUs, these will be available to fans that never had the chance to hear these groundbreaking songs. Remastered, remixed and including bonus cuts never heard before, this is the time for fans to remember one of hardcoreUs pioneers. 2005 is here and its time to see Boy Sets Fire remembered for what they contributed to music and to look forward to what they still have to say in their life. Look out for a brand new Boy Sets Fire release in 2006 and massive tour plans following that release.
