Risen from the ashes of the punk/rock'n'roll-bands DISTRICT and THE REVOLVERS, coming from the Ruhr area, 2nd DISTRICT formed in the summer of 2005. They released a 7" Single, called "Young & Disorderly", on Drunk'n'Roll Records, followed by the album "Emotional Suicide" on People Like You Records. With this output and many gigs in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland etc. those guys showed that they belong to the spearhead of german underground punkrock. Their music, a mixture of Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Dead Boys, Slaughter & the Dogs, Eater, but also bands like New York Dolls, T-Rex, Hanoi Rocks etc. is second to none in Germany. The guys just finished the recordings for their new album "Poverty makes Angry", which is to be out on People Like You/Dirty Faces in January 2009.
