Finland’s ENDSTAND never really cared about trends in punk-music and are best known for playing passionate hardcore with scathing vocals and songs full of catchy melodic guitars. The band’s history started back in 1996 when four small-town guys got fed up of being unemployed and instead of dwelling on the negative, they built up a hardcore outfit in order to create an outlet for their energy and aggression. Being totally dedicated to the spirit of hardcore, ENDSTAND have always been a band on the road cultivating their sound and gaining fans on a DIY level. Playing 500+ shows outside of Finland, it didn’t take too long until the hardcore scene noticed this highly committed group. Their energetic live shows became famous during the decade of their existence, as ENDSTAND always followed their own path and kept on touring around Europe and also once in Japan. Dedication for passion and love in hardcore music are once again the most outstanding characteristics for ENDSTANDs LIFEFORCE debut “The Time Is Now.” This third full length is definitely a landmark in the bands history as it’s their tightest and most intense release to date, but still contains the familiar ENDSTAND-elements of old.
