Born in 1982, died in 1990, and reborn in 2000, Foreign Legion plays classic street punk from Merthyr, South Wales. FOREIGN LEGION has been influenced by many bands, from
the heroes of ’77 to today’s bands; THE CLASH, BUZZCOCKS, THE ADICTS, COCKNEY REJECTS, BEERZONE, COCK SPARRER, DROPKICK MURPHYS and DEADLINE, just to name a few.
FOREIGN LEGION has released 2 full length LPs, one of which was produced by Mick Jones of THE CLASH, a split with MAJOR ACCIDENT, and have had 5 singles out on various labels. Ian
Glasper told their story in the book Burning Britain on Cherry Red Records. Mixing the sounds of old school punk with one part Oi and one part American streetrock, "Death Valley" is the latest release from these punk alumni out on Durty Mick Records. Their singlaong style with catchy lyrics is sure to make your feet move.
