This is the 4th and most recent release in the series of split 7” EPs from Longshot Music, this time featuring two veteran Canadian punk bands: KNUCKLEHEAD from Calgary and HOSTAGE LIFE from Toronto. Each band contributes 2 songs in a similar style of streetpunk rock’n’roll. Both bands have multiple releases under their belts over the many years that they have been active and each band has paid their rock’n’roll dues on the road touring back and forth across Canada and into the US extensively. The similarities between the bands also carries over into their music itself – both bands play a catchy mid-tempo punk-rock comparable to THE BELTONES or SWINGIN’ UTTERS and the subject matter is always thoughtful and provocative, often touching on relavent and current social issues... ‘Hearts On Fire’ and ‘Sense In Politics’ address current political issues and ‘Ratlines’ and ‘Young Aryans’ question social issues.
