Named after the 1840’s railway worker Phinius Gage who had an unfortunate incident with a sharp object, Brighton’s Phinius Gage have been playing fast
punkrock in his honour all around the UK and into Europe since 2003. Since then the band has released a full lenght album and one EP on UK label Deck
Cheese Records and shared stages on tours with Streetlight Manifesto, Fastlane, The Bombjacks, Captain Everything, Ten Foot Pole, Rufio, Spunge,
Route215 and many others, playing over 400 shows across the UK and mainland Europe in just about three years time.
Their energetic and intense live show has made them one of England’s best known modern punk bands and has led them to play a number of high profile
festivals throughout Europe. “Brighton Rock”, Phinius Gage’s second full length, contains 12 newly recorded ultra melodic Skatepunk songs in the vein of
bands like Pennywise, Stike Anywhere or Rise Against.
